RPGrinders EP 742 - Pride Comes Early
Saturday May 27, 2023
Saturday May 27, 2023
It's the last week of May, the unofficial beginning of Summer. It's also the last week before this country celebrates Pride Month. The majority of us will celebrate but there is a large group of people preaching hatred and fear. We still have video games and reviews but anti-LGBTQ issues take a prominent seat in this episode. Pride Month starts early on RPGrinders!
The show doesn't start with Pride in mind but we will arrive there. We start with an unexpectedly long news section. E3 might be dead but May and June are still a great time for game announcements! Ultros, Phantom Blade Zero, Haruka: Beyond the Stars, Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean, and 2 Metal Gear Solids are just some of the upcoming games. Break hates Metal Gear Solid 3 but maybe Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater could change his mind?
We still haven't arrived at the Pride issues but LGBTQ representation plays a part in the reviews. Break reviews the cancelled too soon Willow TV series. Two of the main characters are lesbians in love but is their story interesting enough to keep Break's attention? Eric reviews the sequel to Shazam, one of the final movies of the current DC universe. One member of the Shazam family is gay, but how well did the movie do in his representation?
Now we arrive at our Stinkoes and the assault on the LGBTQ. The death of the Queen of Rock and Roll and police corruption are only the beginning. The Target LGBTQ clothing controversy was a big enough issue for both Break & Eric. Although the Grinders all agree, not everyone agrees with them. Being LGBTQ is perfectly normal and it shouldn't be shunned by society. No person should be made to feel less because of the bigotry of others. The LGBTQ community is NOT indoctrinating children! Rainbow shirts and rainbow flags do NOT indoctrinate children. Being around people in the LGBTQ community will NOT make your kid "gay." That is NOT how sexuality works! Selling LGBTQ inspired clothes is not about indoctrination, it is about inclusion and representation.
Pride Month is about inclusion, acceptance, visibility, representation. It is about people being able to live their best lives and be themselves. There have always been and there will ALWAYS be people that are a part of the LGBTQ community. Hatred and fear will not win. Only Pride can defeat them. We don't need to be members of the community to support them and defend their rights to be free. The right to live and pursue love and happiness. The right to have sex with any consenting adults. The right to their own bodies. The right to hold the hands of the one they love in public without fear of bigots.
Essentially, we want everyone to be treated equal. The LGBTQ community is not treated equally. A lot of things that straight people are able to do that are stigmatized against the LGBTQ community, to varying degrees depending on where people live. There are a lot of places that are openly hostile and violent towards the community.
If the majority won't stand up for the minority, then the minority will take it into their own hands! Happy Pride Month everyone!
Oh, and video games and stuff.
And one more thing, don't miss Frank's special surprise!
And a second thing, sorry if I went a bit ranty. (It's a word now!)
Honestly, I was just getting started.

Saturday May 06, 2023
The weather is finally getting nicer. The sun is staying out longer. The flowers are blooming. And Frank pooped today. That's can only mean one thing, the RPGrinders are back for another episode of news, reviews, and tomfoolery! So stop, smell the lilacs, grab a beer, and join the RPGrinders as they celebrate spring their own way!
Speaking of enjoying the Spring, Gunvein & Skautfold Usurper will be out before the Summer solstice. We also learned that the hot Summer months don't make you sweat then maybe Norn9: Last Era will make you perspire. Once the weather cools and the leaves begin to fall, you can go inside and warm yourself with BioMutant or Mon-Yu.
The Spring nights can still be chilly, which gives you a great excuse to go inside and watch a tv show or movie. What could be a better Springtime excursion than a trip to the movie theater to watch The Guardian of the Galaxy save the galaxy one last time. Or you could stay home and enjoy the latest season of televisions greatest show, the Mandalorian. Mando, Grogu, Drax, and Groot, oh my!
The Springtime isn't known for giving one the blues but that doesn't mean there aren't reasons to complain. The United States Supreme Court has stooped to a level of corruption previously unimagined. Are there any non-corrupt judges? Judges aren't the only crooked people in authority, just ask the Greenwood Village Police. Not as bad as corruption, but getting sick when the weather is nice, SUUUUUCKS. Just ask Break. Not only does it suck but the way some graduating students are being treated is cruel! Punishing children because their parents can't afford to pay for something that should be FREE.
The Sweetoes are proof that Spring is in the air and the pollen is clouding their judgement. Frank can't help but celebrate the good news on the home front. Break can't help but gloat when he sees evil people being punished. Sometimes, there is justice in America. Even more rare than justice is the unexpected team-up of two polarizing politicians, AOC and Matt Gaetz.
Do you still need more proof that it is Spring, then here is proof positive. A brand-new tournament! This time the Grinders start the process of choosing the Greatest Fighting Game of All Time. Not to use a bad pun but the gloves are off! The Fighting Game Tourney has the Grinders looking for a brawl! If you thought they fought a lot in the last tourney, you ain't seen nothing yet!
This tournament well answer some of life's oldest questions. Is Street Fighter 2 a better fighting game than Mortal Kombat? Will Scorpion pull off the Flawless Victory then perform a Fatality on Ryu? Will Ryu and his Alpha pals be a match for the Bogard brothers and their bouncy friend? Is Evil Superman a match for a ruthless tyrant that has ruled with an iron fist for thousands of years? Can a fighting game starring the cast of Final Fantasy 7 survive the odds? Why is Mortal Kombat 4 even on this list? Will the Skullgirls teach the old games some new tricks? Is the Dead or Alive franchise nothing more than fan service or is it a solid fighting franchise? Don't stop to smell the roses, you might get KOed.
Join the Grinders next Friday as the dig deeper into the tournament, new reviews and news, Stinkos and Sweetos, and a flagrant boutique of humor and fun.
Wow. I hope that isn't as pretentious as it sounded in my head.
Tekken, Virtua Fighter, and DoA walk into a bar...

RPGrinders EP 736 - Spite Fighter
Saturday Apr 15, 2023
Saturday Apr 15, 2023
The fight is on! This week's episode gets highly competitive. Arguing over Trans rights, disagreements about reviews, fighting with listeners, arguing with each other, even a fight to determine the greatest fighting game franchise of ALL TIME?! No participation trophies. We are fighting to win!
The fighting starts even before the news! The chatters and the Grinders disagree about the rights of the Trans community. It's a personal issue to Eric and an important issue to address.
The news is a little later than usual, but not as late as the games being delayed. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Endless Dungeon have both been kicked back but they haven't been canceled. By the middle of next month, the Free-to-Play version of Disgaea won't be able to punch its way out of a server shutdown. At least it's not all bad news, as the city of Detroit will soon get to enjoy the Final Fantasy Distant Worlds concert!
To win a fight it takes stamina, not unlike what it will take to watch everything the Grinders reviewed! Hours of Japanese cartoons about the human body, American cartoons about the horrors of puberty, the horrors of Infinity Pool, the horror of being dead and still stuck in high school, a surprisingly good Plane, and even the Caped Crusader.
As if the Grinders weren't ready for a fight, the Stinkos are here to add fuel to the fire. A country that is seemingly at war with itself and its government. States that have decided to rule instead of represent. Even some personal battles against bad apps and bad family members.
Just as the bloodlust comes to a boil, it's time to begin the process of determining the Greatest Fighting Game Franchise of All Time! Will Ryu, Ken, and Chun-Li prevail over the Bogard brothers and their friends? Will Mortal Kombat dish it out or become the next Fatality? Can Dead or Alive's physical "attributes" be enough to defend itself against a Guilty Gear assault? Can the realism of the UFC and the Fight Night survive in a genre that is known for being over the top? If Capcom and SNK team up, could they overcome SNK's tag-battle champion?
Goku vs Naruto, we all want to know.
And that is all just the first round. We do two rounds tonight! The second round is even more shocking than the first!
Did I say that was the last segment? Surprise! We aren't tapping out yet! We have time for one more segment! A free-for-all discussion about the treatment of a nervous teenager at a gaming competition. Was he mistreated or is he just a complainer?
Now the fight is over! We can all go back to our locker rooms, shower, and head home. Win or lose the fight will continue. Let's get ready to rumble, fight the power, don't throw in the towel, act like you've been there before, and all of those other lame competition cliches.
Participation awards for everyone!
FINISH HIM!

RPGrinders EP 733 - No Butts
Saturday Mar 25, 2023
Saturday Mar 25, 2023
It's currently award season in America. The time of year when actors, musicians, video games, and many more are flaunted over and rewarded with shiny trophies. The RPGrinders have even awarded some games with the ultimate award, the GOAT. But what about the bad games and movies? The bad movies have the Razzies but what about video games? The Grinders have a solution! Today they will determine the Worst Movie to Video Game adaption!
The Worst Game is only a small part of the show. Things go wrong from the start as Break botches the opening in place of a sick Frank. But the Grinders wont let that stop them from bringing the news, reviews, Stinkos, Sweetos, and maybe a little surprise.
As always, the Grinders start with the news but in shorter form than usual. With Frank sick the Grinders don't spend as much time on the news as normal but that doesn't mean it is useless information. There were some new announcements: like the PC and mobile King Arthur: Legends Rise and the action RPG TMNT: the Last Ronin. No release date has been given for those two games but Caligula Effect: Overdose and Miasma Chronicles were given late May release dates. If May is too long a wait, Squenix has you covered with their Voice of Cards trilogy.
Even though Frank is fighting the deadly cold virus he is able to give three new movie reviews! Are Utah Cabin Murders, Knock at the Cabin, or Puss in Boots worth the admission price? Maybe the first rule of horror movies should be "Don't go to a Cabin in the Woods." Coincidentally, Eric also reviewed a movie in the Shrek universe. As well as the made for men, lesbian anime Yurikuma Arashi.
If you haven't figured out Frank's Stinko then I won't spoil the germy surprise. Of course, Republicans and Democrats make the list EVERY week. This time they are joined by their enabling mass media.
In happier happenings, Break is enjoying some long over-due Halo Infinite updates and Frank is excited for John Wick 4.
Thanks, for listening. Be sure to check us out every Friday LIVE at 7 PM Eastern.
Wait, isn't there something else....
THE WORST VIDEO GAME TO MOVIE ADAPTION OF ALL TIME!
Only 8 games remain but only one can earn the dubious title! Will E.T. gobble up the competition like a bag of Reece's Pieces or will he be stuck in that hole forever? Will Shrek Swamp Kart Racer live up to its new name, Swamp Ass? Does the Last Action Movie game suck worse than the movie reviews? (Fuck them! That movie rules!) Will Platoon live up to NES tradition of bad movie game adaptions? (Spoiler Alert. Yes. Yes it will.) Is Enter the Matrix the first (and only) thing that Keanu Reeve's can't save? Can Abraham Lincoln fighting Tyler Durden make an entertaining Fight Club game? (Spoiler Alert: No. No they can't.) What ya gonna do when a friend puts Bad Boys Miami in your PS2? Hint, get a new friend. Or better yet. Make your friend play the Gamecube's ultimate shame, Catwoman.

RPGrinders EP 730 - ASS!
Saturday Mar 04, 2023
Saturday Mar 04, 2023
The Grinders are back another show of asstastic proportions! The first week of March 2023 is overstuffed and with news, reviews, stinkos, bad video games, and more asses than the Democratic National Convention. So now it's time to strap in, pop open a cold one, and get ready to for an extra-long episode of RPGrinders!
The Grinders waste little time getting to the news. With some games releasing as early as Asspril, why wait? Trinity Trigger is getting a North American April release only a couple of days before the release of Mugen Souls. Along with the new release news, a couple Pokemon games will be receiving some DLC. Pokemon Scarlet and Diamond can enjoy the updates later this year. DLC has also been announced for Elden Ring but the release date is unknown.
This asspisode of Grinders also features the return of Dear BreakMan! Not trying to spoil the segment but it involves animals and drugs.
Ass usual, Break has enough Stinkos to make his own podcast. A familiar list of Break's complaints: abortion access and restrictions, the hypocrisy of our elected officials, and the horrific actions of police officers. Meanwhile, Frank deals with some family issues.
The start of a new month also means the start of a new tournament! This episode the Grinders complete the first round to determine the Worst Movie to Video Game Adaption Ever Made! The age-old question will be answered, does E.T. phone home or get booted from the first round? Is there a good NES game based on a movie? (Yes, but not on this list!) Is the Cool World video game worse than it's an assbolutely awful movie? Robocop has beat a crooked CEO, a drugged out super robot, and samurai androids but does he have a video game worth playing? Is the first rule of Fight Club not to talk about the Fight Club video game? (A great line. I had to borrow it.)
Join the Grinders LIVE at 7 PM Eastern next Friday for the second round. We will be one step closer to determining which game is the worst piece of ass. Until then, keep your monkey sober.

RPGrinders EP 727 - Professor Layton: Steamier Than Ever
Monday Feb 13, 2023
Monday Feb 13, 2023
The RPGrinders are back with an episode that is 2 HOT 4 U. An episode filled with queefing internets, game remasters, reviews old and new, Break Man's stupidity, and the most important tournament in human history. Just like a real queef, nothing will stop them from getting the job done!
The news doesn't have any queefs but it does have some new game announcements, solid release dates, remasters, collections, and reboots. The Fantasy Life i: the Girl Who Steals Time and the copaganda crime suspense RPG Decapolice are in the works. This May will see the release of Darkest Dungeon 2 while August will be getting Sea of Stars. For those looking for nostalgia can look forward to the returns of Bain Kaitos, Advance Wars, and an overpriced Etrian Odyssey collection.
Queefs happen rarely but even more rarely do all three Grinders have reviews for cartoons! It's the gauntlet of cartoons, no less, as each Grinder reviews a different kind of animation. Break spent his time watching the legendary kids cartoon Batman: the Animated Series. Eric watched something a bit more adult oriented, the entire series of the comedy anime Food Wars. However, those are both tame compared to Frank's viewing of the VERY adult second season of Vox Machina.
Queefing is a mild inconvenience, at most, but the Stinkos are anything but mild. As usual, Break is pissed about a lot of things that are completely outside his control. Domestic gun violence, earthquakes, and fascism coming to Ohio frustrate him but not to the level of Frank's frustration. He's angry with the racists living in Southern Colorado. Bigotry in America is getting worse every year, that should make us all feel sick. Racism is worse than the illness Eric is fighting (get better asap)! It is very much like a tumor. It is a cancer on society. Just like the cancer Eric's aunt is battling (Good luck to her. We hope for only the best. Fuck cancer!) it is killing us from the inside. Hopefully, there will be a safe effect cure for cancer one day soon.
With so much bad news there is only one way to cleanse the pallet, the Greatest Tournament Ever Created! Just like a queef, once it starts it can't be stopped. It's time to move forward to the next round of the second tournament. That's right, the month of love and cupid is giving us two tournaments for the price of one!
The first tournament was cute and queef-free but today's tournament is hot and moist. Thirty-two of the HOTTEST video game men and women enter, but which one will be able to out sexy the rest? Will Jill Valentine survive a zombie apocalypse and Cammy's tight tushy? Can Cloud Stryfe overcome the lack of a personality and his friend Zack Fair? Will the busty bestie Tifa Lockhart triumph over a dinosaur slaying, treasure hunter named Lara Croft? Will Jade overcome Break's ignorance and Cid's granddaughter? Will the half-demon Dante put a stake through the heart of the half-vampire Alucard? Will Miranda Lambert move on or will she queef her chance away?
Thanks for reading, downloading, and listening. Please join us this Friday as the Grinders decide the Cutest video game character of ALL TIME. Happy Valentines Day and may you queef with the one you love.
Oh, and Break. Say it with us. Jade is a MAN.

RPGrinders EP 724 - Don’t Be Rash
Thursday Jan 26, 2023
Thursday Jan 26, 2023
The RPGrinders are back again! It's another week and another excuse for Break not to do the news. Frank & Eric aren't fooled by Break's obvious ploy to get out of doing the news. They can'f force him to do his job. They are only left with one option, add it to the long list of complaints in this Stinko heavy episode.
New year brings new game and release date news. Switch gamers can look forward to Remnant: From the Ashes and Dokapon Kingdom Connect. March will see the the release of Little Witch Nobeta and the delayed Atelier Ryza 3. Giant mech lovers in Europe and North America will be getting the remake of Front Mission 1st.
This Stinko heavy episode also has another overstuffed segment. The reviews! The Grinders have been busy watching movies, old and new alike. Frank loves his horror but how does he feel about the new killer doll Megan and the anime classic Vampire Hunter D movies. Break seems to be obsessed with blood lately, as he watched two more horror movies, The Night of the Living Dead remake and the FANTASTIC Invisible Man! Eric bucks the trend and gives his view on Maverick's journey through both Top Gun movies.
As promised. The segment too big to compress. The Stinkos! As usual, Break has several Stinkos but he isn't alone. Is he alone in his thinking about elected House Representative George Santos, the blatant hypocrisy of a pro-Democrat media, or yet more evil committed by the police. Frank definitely agrees that the police are not our friends. He also believes people are overreacting to the new Pink Floyd logo, as well as some more personal Stinkos. Eric's controller died but more importantly, he has a very special message for American Airlines.
And then there were some Sweetos about football and movie scripts, or something. And a Free-4-All about something or other. But who cares? We all know it was today's Stinkos that truly mattered!
No one will ever know this episode was posted late.....MUHAHAHAHA

RPGrinders EP 721 - Goodbye to You, 2022
Saturday Dec 31, 2022
Saturday Dec 31, 2022
The Grinders are back for the last episode of 2022. It's time to move on from the old and bring in the new. But first it's time to look back at the year that was! So pop open the champagne. Get out the streamers. Make your New Year's Resolutions. And ring in the new year with the RPgrinders.
Is there a better way to look ahead than the latest news stories of upcoming releases? January is going to start the year off right with the release of We Are the Caretakers, early access to Glimmer in Mirror, and new dlc for Strangers of Paradise.
The RPGrinders wouldn't dream of ending the year without Stinkos. As usual, Break has a lot of complaints. Is he ever not mad? Not as long as politicians are never held accountable and use human beings in dangerous political stunts. Human cruelty isn't political, it's evil. Frank has seen evil firsthand. He can see the sickening parallels between the way some people treat immigrants and the homeless.
Don't threat. It isn't all bad news. In fact, the Grinders have some good Sweetos to lift the mood. It was a historical week as actual Meta-Humans were discovered! Superheroes are real! They have been hiding in plain sight all along. Just slightly less historic is Frank's list of new games!
For reasons unknown, Break decided to punish himself this week. He watched four movies of questionable quality. Movies like A Christmas Story are back with an official sequel just in time to ruin Christmas. Break also spent time in the world of DC. Does he smell what Black Adam is cooking? Can Bird of Prey redeem Harleyquinn? Is it a good idea for a man with suicidal tendencies to make a joke about a bad movie called Suicide Squad? (Probably not but Break has really dark humor.)
For the final segment of 2022, the Grinders look back to some of their favorite and movies. A lot of fun time was spent playing TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, Eldin Ring, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and Guardians of the Galaxy. More fun time was also spent on great movies like Terrifier 2, Godzilla vs Kong, and Dragon Ball Super: Super Heroes.
The Grinders also talk about the hours they regret losing to crappy games and movies. The movies Batman v Superman, Morbius, Moonfall were only some of the self-inflicted cruelties. Bad games? Agony, enough said.
To close out another successful year of RPGinders, Frank has a heartfelt speech for his co-hosting friends Eric & Break. We feel the love and want it to spread. Happy New Year everyone! No matter if 2022 was good or bad, hopefully 2023 will be better.
Google Kate Winslet's boobs. You are welcome.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful breasts with the world, Kate Winslet.

RPGrinders EP 718 - Fuck Me, Santa
Sunday Dec 11, 2022
Sunday Dec 11, 2022
HO HO HO Holy shit, the RPGrinders are back with another brand-new episode. What's happening in this jolly episode? The holiday season is in full swing, the news is jam packed, the greastest tournament ever returns for a second round, Frank has some nice words for a bad man, Break still hates the government, and Eric is forced to tolerate them both.
With the holidays comes cold weather and cold weather gives us plenty of time to game! Although these games won't be out in time for this winter, maybe you we can spend next winter playing some of the recently announced titles (if they are released, of course). The walking simulator is returning for Death Stranding 2, a return to Greek mythology for Hades 2, a cutesy version of Bayonetta, or from the ashes of Remnant 2?
If those games don't release in time for the holidays, don't worry because Squenix has us covered! They have finally announced the release date for the 16th title in the most storied of gaming franchises, Final Fantasy! It comes out in the middle of the year but it will probably go on sale for the 2023 holiday season.
The review portion of the show is shorter than normal but it is a Feast.
If all the holiday cheer and good tidings are getting on your nerves, the Stinkoes are what you need. The Grinders all have a lot of complaints. As usual, Break is pissed off at Donald Trump and the Republicans but is he also as pissed at the Democrats? Frank is even more angry at Trump and his threats against the United States of America. As bad as all of those were, they don't compare to Eric's terrible week!
If you aren't over the holidays and are looking for good cheer, nothing will leave you more surprised than Frank's Sweeto.
What's worse than getting a gift you don't want or seeing someone's disappointment at what you bought them? The Worst Movie of All Time! Only 32 sucktacular movies are still on the list but only 16 can continue. Will the Blair Witch bore us more than House of the Dead offends our intelligence? Which hit movie was more overrated, Men in Black 2 or Mrs. Doubtfire? Is the offensive and badly cast Dragon Ball Evolution worse than the shit burger that is Double Dragon? Will It's a Wonderful Life, the Christmas "classic", Crash and burn? Four Batman turds (it's why he smells) started the tournament, will any move on, or will only Robin lay the egg? Who is the worse actor, Rob Zombie's wife or Lindsay Lohan? Velocipastor, is there anything more to say?
Grab your cookies, pour yourself some holiday spirits, crowd around the fireplace, and stream our latest episode of tomfoolery and cheer. Happy holidays to everyone!
Except for traitors of democracy. They can go fuck themselves.

RPGrinders EP 715 - Turkey and Turds
Saturday Nov 19, 2022
Saturday Nov 19, 2022
The Holiday Season is almost upon us. By this time, next week, our stomachs will be bloated with Thanksgiving turkey. Our wallets will be empty from Black Friday shopping. And our ears will bleed from hearing Jiggle Bells for the ten millionth time.
There are a lot of good news article. None quite as tasty as a perfectly cooked turkey but some are just as juicy. It does get much tastier than the announcement that Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is getting free updates to the current generation of consoles. We also learned the release dates of Superfuse and Sword of the Vagrant.
With Black Friday only a week away, Frank has a special present for the listeners. He combed all the major ads to find the best gaming deals. With Frank's deals you won't just have leftover food but also leftover money!
With the shopping over with and the main meal consumed, it's time to chill. Sit down on the couch. Relax and wait for pie. While you wait, you can check out some of the shows and movies reviewed today. Are adult comic book shows, like Titans and Creepshow, worth watching? Was the highly anticipated One Piece Red worth the wait? If you are looking for a good scare, will Shark bait or Smile give you the thrills you desire?
The one thing that should never be a part of Thanksgiving dinner is the vile green bean casserole. Green bean casserole is the Stinko of Thanksgiving dinner. Like the democracy hating Ohio Republicans are the Stinko of Ohio. And the racist governor Youngkin is the Stinko of Virginia.
The only thing sweeter than the cranberry sauce is the news that Nancy Pelosi will be stepping down. That isn't even the best of our Sweetos as Frank is making movie progress and Break's best friend got great news from the doctor.
What's the best side? Is it mashed potatoes in gravy? Is it corn, or rolls? No matter which side you choose, they are all more enjoyable than the Worst Arcade Game Ever Made! Today is the day we finally determine which game is more terrible than the smells coming from the bathroom, the day after Thanksgiving. Will the bastard game of the storied Mortal Kombat series Finish the competition? Is the original Street Fighter as bad as Break says? Is Mil really Pac-Man's Pal? Is Vulgus as vulgar as Frank says? Is Art of Fighting the lamest fighting game ever made? Is Double Dragon 3 the turd that Eric says? Is Toobin's stupid control as stupid as the game play? Or is Time Traveler the misogynistic, racial stereo typed, poorly acted, overpriced, impossible to play, shit burger of a game ever made?
Happy Thanksgiving! Or if you have legitimate problems with the holiday, then I just wish thanks to you and yours! And thanks to our listeners!
Except, Freak.
JK!
You know we love you, Freak!
