RPGinders EP 660 - COVID-19 Vaxxed My AntiVax
Saturday Oct 02, 2021
Saturday Oct 02, 2021
It's October again and we all know what that means, Halloween candy! It also means the temperature is getting cooler. Horror movies will dominate the streaming services. Pumpkin spice will be added to every food and the RPGrinders start a brand new tournament, or do they?!
For gamers, Autumn has another meaning. This is the time of the year when a lot of companies start releasing their biggest titles. Among those big releases: Square Enix (Does anybody else still call them Squenix? Or just me?) is releasing the generically titled Dungeon Encounters on the 14th. The fishing RPG Moonglow will be out on the 26th, after a short delay. The PC is getting a new Monster Hunter on the 12th of November. And on December 15th, Sega is releasing Sin Chronicle.
The normal reviews are high jacked by a dirty old Break Man. Apparently, Perv Man has been spending a lot of time using his Nintendo Switch to look at naked video game characters. The perv reviews not 1, not 2, not even 3 games. He reviews 4 games that feature topless women. Are any of them fun games or do they exist just to show nipples?
The Stinkos are dominated by COVID-19. The virus continues to ravage the planet. Once again, the virus hits too close to home for one of the hosts.
The COVID-19 conversation is important. So instead of starting a new tournament the RPGrinders tackle the topic of vaccinations. Will we reach a herd immunity? When will the pandemic end? Should everyone get vaxxed? We ask these and many more important questions. We aren't experts so we are just trying to figure this out the best we can.
Please let us know what you think. Just send a tweet to @RPGrinders
I got vaxxed and now my personality isn't the only thing that is magnetic!

RPGinders EP 657 - Fucked Around and Found Out Branches
Saturday Sep 04, 2021
Saturday Sep 04, 2021
It's a brand new month and a brand new episode of RPGrinders. September brings us Autumn, cooler temperatures, football, and (the most important thing of all) a brand new tournament! This month we will decide the Greatest Gameboy Advance Game of All Time!
As usual, we start the show off with plenty of news. Demon Gaze Extra gets a release date and a few different prices. The Xbox & PC fishing and slice of life RPG, Moonglow gets an October release date. Upcoming release World Flipper offers a unique experience by combing pinball and action RPGs. If you are looking for a more traditional RPG experience, Rise of the Third Power has been announced for the PC.
As a special treat, Eric reviews the sci-fi classic Alien. How does he feel about Ripley, the crew, and their struggle against the first xenomorph?
This episode is mostly fun and games but the Grinders do take the time to talk about two serious issues: climate change and abortion. Yet again, another strong hurricane attacks America. This time it's name was Ida but what will it be next time? There will be a next time. Just like the Earth, man has decided that he should control women. Right Wing nut jobs are finally getting their way because of Texas and the Supreme Court. These monsters are taking away women's rights to bodily autonomy!
Even terrible news can't stop the Grinders from answering the questions that have stumped scholars for generations. If a tree falls it the woods, does it make a sound? Penis mightier than the sword? If a plane crashes on the border of Mexico and the US, where do you bury the survivors? And the most important question of all time, what is the greatest Gameboy Advance game of all time?! Will the classic Link to the Past score an Eagle against Mario Golf? Can Final Fantasy 4, 5, or 6 make it to the next round? Can the Castlevania series maintain it's dominance over the portable gaming market?
No Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and no harmonica makes Break Man a dull boy.

RPGrinders EP 655 - Who are these COVIDIOTS?
Thursday Aug 26, 2021
Thursday Aug 26, 2021
Seriously, wear a damn mask! Anyways, in this episode of RPGrinders, the crew get through some news per usual, before dropping out what they've been playing on the audience. Frank has a review for Those Who Wish Me Dead. Afterwards, we get into our Stinkos and Sweetos. Why we are all concerned with the COVID spikes, Break has some choice words. Time is also taken to pay a moment of silence for Sonny Chiba. The homeless are still getting harassed, but at least a broken dryer is one less problem for some of us, right? I hear Gun N' Roses are good for that. Round 3 of the best Gameboy Game of All time also happens. Who will hang on, and who will fall. Be sure to tune in live(or later) to Twitch/Youtube Fridays at 7PM EST to find out!

RPGrinders EP 654 - Frank Helps the Homeless
Saturday Aug 14, 2021
Saturday Aug 14, 2021
The Grinders are back with a short but lightning quick episode! Frank's in a hurry so there is no messing around.....almost no messing around.....okay, fine. A lot of messing around but none of it slows down this episode. So its time to sit down and buckle up. You are in for a ride!
There wasn't a lot of news but there were some end of Summer release dates. Dark Siders 3, The Magister, and Eastward are all coming to the Switch in September. If you don't want to wait until September, Garden Story is out now for the Switch.
This weeks Stinkos see doom and gloom for the future of humanity. Can we survive the human stupidity that allows COVID-19 to flourish? Will the Earth or its creatures survive the environmental destruction caused by greed? Has the Cult45 virus spread outside of America?
It's been a bad week for the MAGA crowd, which means its been a Sweeto for the rest of us. Anti-vaxxing politicians find their selves suspended from social media, a fake news network gets busted for using fake experts, a pillow guy has a very bad week, and Q fails Cult45.
The Gameboy tournament is heating up. Only 32 games are left fighting for their survival. Can Wario survive against the Tetris juggernaut and a bounty hunting badass? Will Christopher Belmont be able to save his son and defeat Red Falcon? Does the Blue Bomber have the power to beat the Stardroids, Dr. Wily, and moles? Can Dr. Mario cure the Wind Fish of insomnia?
Frank spent his day helping out people that have no means to help their selves. He encourages us all to help, in any way we can. The richest country in the world, has no excuse for forcing some of it's citizens to live on the streets! We might not be able to fix our government but we are able to help our fellow human beings.
Harmie says hello.

RPGinders EP 651 - One Man Band Break Man
Saturday Jul 24, 2021
Saturday Jul 24, 2021
The RPGrinders are back with a very special episode. For the first time ever, the Grinders skip the news! The rest of the show is the same. There are plenty of Stinkos and reviews, just with less news.
Without the news the Grinders start the show off with deals. Both Playstation and Xbox are having their big summer sales. Don't forget to check out the E-shop as they have been offering some good deals, as of late.
Dear BreakMan is back. Today we learn how get rid of unwelcome co-workers. These are the space invaders of the worst kind, the personal space invaders! Don't worry, even personal space invaders are no match for the ultimate wisdom of the RPGrinders!
Without the news, the Grinders have plenty of time for reviews. Five reviews of anime, horror, Marvel and more. Is the long overdue Black Widow worth the wait? He-Man has finally come back but does Eric think it was worth the wait?
It may be a shorter episode but there is no shortage of Stinkos. Break is mad about COVID and the broken dryer that broke his wallet. Frank is burning up on the inside and outside, as he battles a summer cold and a broken AC. Eric takes the Olympics and the state of Mississippi to task. Even though it's Eric's Stinko, the Grinders all agree that the war on women must end!
To end the show on a much happier note, the Grinders enter round two of the Greatest Gameshow of All Time tournament! There are only 16 shows left and they are all good. No whammy, no whammy, no Super Market Sweep? Can the new comer The Floor is Lava compete with the legendary Jeopardy? Will Let's Make A deal make it to the next round or will it get the Gong? Will Remote control be another slime covered victim of the Obstacle Course? Can the Newlywed game survive against 9 B list celebrities, wielding the power of Xs and Os? Who Wants to be a Millionaire or do they prefer winning thousands on the Pyramid? Is the Dating Game a match for Pat, Vanna, and their amazing wheel? And finally, it's double the Drew Carey as the host of the Price is Right battles one of his other shows, Who's Line is it Anyway.
Where like does he like find those wonderful like toys?
