RPGrinders EP 643 - Sympathy of the Night

In this important episode of RPGrinders, the crew gets through a nice chunk of news before we get overloaded come E3 time. Afterwards, the usual Stinkos and Sweetos happen, with the political parties taken the heart again like usual. But even before that, Eric has a review of the original Ben 10 series and Frank with Kill List. afterwards we do our Final to determine the greatest game of all time, and it's quite the underdog, I can tell you! This also marks the last stinking tourney for at least a month. Finally, the show can get back to talking about skeptical topics. RPGinders EP 642 - Keep Hopium Alive

Put on your party hats and eat cake because It's time to celebrate! The Grinders are back with a new episode and tis the eve of Break Man Day! Happy Break Man Day to one and all! 

As always, the party starts with some gaming news: Pecaminosa is coming to the Switch and PC later this month. Ni No Kuni 2 is getting a physical and digital Switch release on September 17th. And even the Ipad gets some love as Divinity Original Sin 2 is now available. 

Although it's a happy atmosphere, it wouldn't be RPGrinders without Stinkos. Today the Grinders mourn the loss of Kentaro Miura, the creator of Berserk. We also mourn the loss of Andrew Brown Jr., another black man brutally murdered by the police. Both men died way too young. 

With the heavier topics out of the way, it's time to deal with the most important question in the history of questions! What is the Greatest Video Game of All Time? There are 16 games left but only one can win: Can the Master Chief defeat one of the oldest video games in existence? Will Frank get his wish and rejoice the victory of Dragon Quest 8 over Castlevania:SofN? Is Nintendo's greatest creation an obese plumber or an elf in green? Can Leon Kennedy out match a boxing kangaroo? The greatest RPG of All Time is Chrono Trigger, is it also the greatest game?

This episode also has some great gaming deals, Sweetos, Krypto, and Netflix's Castlevania.

RPGrinders EP 640 - Catch-up Extravaganza

In this tightly packed episode of RPGrinders, There's only a smidgen of news, but there are a ton of reviews, stinkos, and sweetos to cover. Eric has reviews of Mortal Kombat: Scorpion's Revenge, Godzilla, and the first season of Demon Slayer and its first movie. Frank also has a review of the new live-action Mortal Kombat movie. After all the usual is done, we finally kick off the next tourney for the greatest game of all time. A lot of good ones had to be left out, but the entries here are sure to be quite the titanic match-ups. Be sure to tune in the following weeks to see sparks fly. RPGinders EP 639 - MXT's Prison of Love

The RPGrinders are back with another episode of video games news, movie reviews, terrible Stinkos, refreshing Sweetos, and the finale of our April tournament. This episode promises a lot of laughs but, be warned, there are some tears. 

The news is short and sweet. Summer release dates for Ys IX, the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, Empire of Angels 4, and Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis will keep you out of heat.

If you don't feel like gaming, maybe you are in the mood for movies. Frank and Break disagree on the Netflix exclusive Thunder Force. They might disagree on the rating but no one can disagree with the power of Jason Bateman's mullet! Also, Eric reviews the latest Mortal Kombat movie. Can it overcome the incredibly low bar set by Annihilation?

These Stinkos come with an emotional warning. Everyone, please let Frank know that we love him. He can use our support through the trying times. Besides the sad news the Grinders also rail against the usual evils of the world: police, politicians, violence, and murder. 

This episode isn't all sad though, as the Grinders celebrate the verdict in the Chauvin murder trial. The police aren't above the law. We just hope this leads to real change.

Today is the day we finally answer the question that has confounded experts for a millennium: Who is the Greatest Video Game Icon of All Time? We are down to the great eight but there can be only one! Can an electrical mouse shock the competition? Will Mario put his size 12 Kuribo shoe on the throat of his enemies? Will the "last man standing" be a swashbuckling woman? Ryu rules the arcade, can he rule the tournament? Can Break rig the competition to give Mega Man the win? Is Sonic's speed good enough to win? Will the legendary Belmont clan stand triumphant? Or is Link the true legend?
