RPGrinders EP 781 - Running with Poop
Friday Mar 15, 2024
Friday Mar 15, 2024
The crew has a fair bit of news to get through in this topsy-turvy episode of RPGrinders. Highlights being that Trails through Daybreak has a release date and the Neptunia Re;Birth trilogy games are coming to Switch. Frank has a review for Dune Part II. Afterward, the show gets a bit sad, as we all take time to mourn the loss of Akira Toriyama. but the Sweetos make up for it. The show even goes full nutty once Break's new segment goes into part 2. It's like watching John Wick fight rednecks in Shitsville or something. Can the crew stop missing so much? Will the cow actually do anyting? Be sure to listen live for all that good nonsense Fridays at 7 PM EST on Twitch/Youtube!

RPGrinders EP 779 - Naughty Frank
Saturday Feb 17, 2024
Saturday Feb 17, 2024
If the winter doldrums aren't getting you down, you are a stronger person than I. However, if the winter doldrums are getting you down, don't worry because the RPGrinders are back to warm you up! What better way is there to heat up your body than with the latest gaming news, movie reviews, Stinkos, Sweetos, and the Driver's Seat?! Don't answer that...
Is there a better way to spend a cold day than in front of the TV playing a brand spanking new game? Don't answer that either! Besides, many of the news articles are for games releasing in warmer months. How will the May 21st release of Neptunia: Sisters vs Sisters or the May 23rd release of Morbid the Lords of Ire help keep you warm now? Maybe the March 7th release of Blade Prince Academy might help, if your marches are cold. If it's still cold in early April, maybe the gothic horror RPG Withering Rooms can warm you up if it doesn't send a chill down your spine.
On these cold days, the warm glow of the TV sometimes just isn't enough. Sometimes you need to turn on your phone as well and use both screens like a tanning bed. Use the TV for games and watch some of these reviews on your phone. An even better idea would be to play Mortal Kombat on the TV while watching all 4 Mortal Kombat animated movies! After all, is there a better way to get Toasty?
If gaming and movies won't warm up the body, maybe the Stinkos will make your blood boil. Nothing seems to make Frank's blood boil worse than the police. With officers who are trigger happy and officers who ignore threats to the lives of children we should all be boiling over. The police aren't the only Stinko regulars, as the Ohio Republican party makes sure they stay on Break's list. Republicans aren't the only clowns in government. The fact that Frank is STILL waiting for his refund, is proof of that.
If boiling blood isn't warming the body, maybe it's time to warm the heart. Is there anything more heart-warming than a Sweeto? You can answer that if you want. The Grinders might have other ideas of what should be considered heart-warming. For instance, Frank heart warmed with joy as he watched the tears of a failed wannabe dictator. It's long past time the failure is held accountable for his actions. No wannabe can ever over-shadow love, especially the love of a pop princess for her Tight End warrior with a tight end. Their love single handedly won the Super Bowl!
If everything fails and you are still cold, it is time for a road trip! Hop into the Eric's Driver's Seat Segment and stay there until don't feel cold anymore. This segment is the chance to get to know the hosts a little better. Is there a better way to know about someone than to watch them work? Even if the job is the worst piece of shit job ever? Good jobs lack drama. How are we going to stay warm without the insanity of drama? Who wants to work in a happy environment, with people they like, copiers that work, and customers who don't complain??
If you are still cold after this episode, then it is hopeless. There is no other way to warm up. Either wait for Spring or give up and go running naked through the snow. As for me, the Grinders will be off next week so I will be hibernating until March.
I almost called this episode Anal Questor.
I'm not sure if I made the right decision.

RPGrinders EP 778 - The Drivers Seat
Friday Feb 09, 2024
Friday Feb 09, 2024
We had a short news cycle this week which left more room for stinkos like Colorado's lack of action on tax refunds, Break rips the WWE and more specifically Vince McMahon, Ohio Republican politicians still suck ass, Eric's segment is in its second week and lets just say "The Drivers" seat was super interesting this week! Join us LIVE every Friday 7EST : http://twitch.tv/RPGrinders Thanks for listening!

It's early February and the end of winter is almost here, according to a rodent weather reporter. Who in the hell decided the groundhog was a great weather predictor? How did the stupid tradition even start? Why am I even asking questions that have nothing to do with RPGrinders or this episode? Cause we are the RPGrinders and we talk about whatever the fuck we want!
The stupid animal thinks its time to go outside and play. Why would we want to go outside when Dragon Quest Builders is finally coming to PC? How will we be able to play the soon released detective rpg, Pixel Noir? I guess we could play these games on a laptop but then we have to deal with glare, bugs, battery life, wind, and the weather. It will be much nicer to play those games from the comfort of our gamer chairs. Why leave those chairs just because the weather gets warmer? Instead, we could stay inside playing Stellar Blade and Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition when they release this spring.
Regardless of the weather predicting rodent's premonitions, we could choose to stay inside and watch a good movie. Maybe a new horror flick. Something that looks different. No matter what we choose it will be better than the crap Frank was forced to endure. A movie so vile its name must not be printed!
The rodent may have predicted a short winter but that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of Stinkos. Things like asshole car dealers, tax delays, bigotry, developer layoffs, and a pain in the eye! We also mourn the loss of the bad ass Carl Weathers and there might even be a weather related Stinko.
This month marks new beginnings. Just like the groundhog decides when spring begins, the RPGrinders decide when a new segment begins! This is the first week of Eric's brand-spanking-new segment, The Driver's Seat. This is a chance for all listeners to learn more about Frank, Eric and Break. This week Eric starts with the question: "Why do you care about what people believe in?" Over the next couple of weeks, the Grinders will answer two more questions that will explore their opinions and personalities.
Unlike the rodent who is only used once a year, the Grinders will be back next week! A new theme and new segment but don't worry because we are the same ol' Grinders!
I would just like to take this time to promote my top candidate for the next president of the United States of America....
Fuck Trump
Fuck Biden
Fuck Haley
*drum roll*
TAYLOR SWIFT FOR PRESIDENT 2024!

RPGrinders EP 776 - Sisterly Rivalry?
Thursday Feb 01, 2024
Thursday Feb 01, 2024
In this episode of RPGrinders, the crew gets through some short news, made long by Frank's long-windedness, as per usual. The biggest highlights are the date drop for Neptunia: Sisters vs Sisters, and a parody game of Simon's Quest. Afterward, Frank has reviews for The Passenger and Destroy All Neighbors. Stinkos are the same as usual with Break and Eric, and Frank has some game and headphone trouble. At least the Sweetos are sure to perk everyone up. And finally, for the new Free for All segment, Eric has their scenario for the Panic Zone. Be sure to tune in next time for Eric's new segment, The Driver's Seat, live on Fridays at 7 PM EST on Twitch/Youtube!

I review the conclusion of this 14-year-old indie series for PC!
P. S. - I forgot to mention the game is currently PC only. If it's like the previous two entries though, it'll get ported sooner rather than later though, so if you aren't a PC gamer, put this game on your radar!
