RPGrinders EP 753 - RPBoobies
Saturday Aug 12, 2023
Saturday Aug 12, 2023
It's hot as fuck outside but the Grinders can take the heat! The RPgrinders are back with another episode of steaming goodness. This week they take on some of the hottest topics in the country, like library book bans, wildfires, political corruption and boobs. Lots and lots of boobs. What could be hotter than breasts? NOTHING!
With the fall season right around the corner, game releases are starting to heat up! Games like Untamed Tactics and Wrestling Quest will be out by the end of August. Just a couple weeks before Autumn will also the release of the next mobile Final Fantasy game, Ever Crisis. For anyone willing to wait longer, they can look forward to the PC release of Deathbound and the unknown system release of Corpse Party 2. Seriously, they didn't tell us anything about the hardware we need to play the game.
Eric strapped on his heat-resistant spy gear for this week's reviews. Not one Mission Impossible, not two Mission Impossible movies, because he reviews the first two Mission Impossible movies, and the most recent film Dead Reckoning Part 1! How do Ethan Hunt's early escapades compare to the most current Mission Impossible sequels? How do the first 2 hold up by today's standards?
Just when the temperature was beginning to cool down, the Grinders moved on to everyone's favorite segment The Stinko of the Week. Talks about wildfires and crooked Ohio politicians make Break's blood boil. Things really begin to heat up between chat and the hosts as there was a lot of disagreement over some of the country's hottest topics. The FBI killing of a disabled man making death threats and the banning of books in libraries. The chatters and hosts all see the situations from different angles. Who is wrong? Who is right? As long as we learn to get along is all that should matter.
Even the Stinkos couldn't prepare the Grinders for the next upcoming battle, the second round of the Greatest Cereal in the World tournament! The heat is really on now. Only 32 cereals are left but only 16 can go on to next week. Which cereal's flames of hope will be washed away like spoiled milk down the drain? Frosted Flakes are one of the country's most popular cereals, but does it taste better than Apple Jacks? Will a Lucky leprechaun give Lucky Charms what it needs to go marshmallow to marshmallow against Count Chocula? Which cereal requires the most sugar just to be edible, is it Total, Rice Crispies, or Corn Chex? Which artificially flavored fruit cereal will survive, the Flinstone's favorite or the brand that hates silly rabbits? After losing Choclate Life will Break lose his Life and his Cinnamon Life? How many more lives does he have? He is running through them quicker than potato salad left in the sun will run through a human digestive system.
If you don't get to see the show live, you miss out on a lot of chat room shenanigans. Boobs, book bans, and boxes of cereal have lit the fires under chatters. Sometimes there is friction. Sometimes there are heated arguments. Sometimes they are given a warm reception. No matter what the topic, no subject is too hot for the Grinders!
My Childhood Friend is a Slutty School Teacher. Does she tutor adults?

RPGrinders EP 750 - AT & T and A
Saturday Jul 22, 2023
Saturday Jul 22, 2023
It's the middle of summer on this scorching mud ball, but even record high temperatures are nothing compared to the extreme heat of the RPGrinders! We are coming in HOT and there is no cooling down in this jam packed but shorter episode. Red hot reviews, flaring racial tensions, and a burning passion for Frank's new toy are just some of today's conversations.
The planet may be heating up and the future make look dim. At least you can look forward to some upcoming games, while you wait out the apocalypse with a window airconditioner. The cooler months of fall will bring us Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden and Caligula Effect 2. While you wait for the sun to stop punishing the Earth, why not check out the new release Farsiders on PC?
As a complete shock and surprise to NO ONE, Xbox Live is about to die. Don't blame the heat for this death. We all knew it was coming. Microsoft cared as much about Xbox Live as the American government cares about climate change.
Stay inside. Turn out the lights. Turn up the airconditioner. Enjoy some good movies and television shows while protecting yourself from the extreme heat! Quicksand and Werewolves Within will keep you cool with a chill down your spine. If horror isn't your thing, try the stone-cold comedy series Schitt's Creek.
The planet may be suffering from extreme heat but nothing is hotter than the anger of the Stinkoes! Global warming is definitely a Stinko but it isn't the only one making the Grinders hot under the collar. People that willing upgrade their mufflers to the annoyance of everyone around, really tans our hides. Racist politicians erasing African American history and sugar-coating slavery. Make no mistake, there is NOTHING worse than slavery despite what Republicans want children to know. Florida isn't the only state with blatantly racist politicians. The Democrats have their own bigoted 3 letter Jr problem. I have heard a lot of crazy things from people like MTG but even she seems sane in comparison to RFK Jr.
With only two Free-4-Alls left before the return of the tournaments, the Grinders take on the hottest topic in America: Jason Aldean. The country crooner wrote a song with violent lyrics and a video with violent representation. Is the video problematic? Is Jason Aldean a racist? Is this an issue that has been blown out of proportion? Violent images and lyrics are nothing new. So the question becomes, did he go to far? Will the Grinders condemn Jason Aldean? Will they support him? Will they even care?
Did we mention, Frank got a blazing new toy!? What is it, you ask? We aren't telling you here! You will have to listen to find out! Frank's new hotness! Do people still say "hotness"? I freaking hope not.
Nope. I'm not spilling my guts this week! Just go back to the Pride Never Stops episode. I'm not pouring out more of my soul until I get a movie deal!

RPGrinders EP 747 - Burning Down the Closet
Saturday Jul 01, 2023
Saturday Jul 01, 2023
The Grinders are back for the last day of Pride 2023 and the last day of Frank Week (be sure to wish him a happy birthday!) Although Frank isn't in the LGBTQ community, he is a very vocal and supportive ally! Frank is also a great friend to his two queer co-hosts, Eric who has shared his truth without fear and Break who comes out in this very episode! Coming out can be a long hard process, good friends make it easier.
The Rainbow Flag flies high above the news portion of this episode. These games might be releasing too late for Pride 2023 but they will still be around for Pride 2024! Gravity Circuit might be releasing on July 13th but it will still be playable in 2024, as well as the fall releases Dokapon Kingdom Connect and Summon Aeterna.
Break might be feeling strong with Pride but that doesn't mean the Grinders don't have reasons to complain. Crooked judges, cheating athletes, has been comedians, tone deaf spouses, and the corrupt courts playing politics with all of our lives. Break comes out just in time to watch one of his rights evaporate.
The Grinders won't let the bad news keep them down. There are plenty of things to celebrate! While the cowardly lion Break finally finds some Pride, the rest of the world celebrates Frank Day! Smoke a joint, hit a bong, eat some gummies, all in Frank's honor.
In the absence of a tournament, the Grinders have plenty of time for a Free-4-All. The topic is the pacing of video games. Are games too long? Are they paced poorly? What is the right pacing for a game? Although Pride and queerness aren't a part of the discussion, they are integral to Break Man's big reveal.
You don't have to be queer to find your own Pride. It means something different to all of us. It has a special and personal meeting for all queer people not stuck in the nightmare that is the Closet. This is the start of a new day for Break. He's finding and sharing his truth. He hopes everyone can find their truth and not be forced to hide it from the world. To all the people stuck in the closet, you aren't alone and there is help if you want it.
Happy Frank Day everyone!
A long time ago, there was a little boy that always questioned the world around him. A confusing world of binary choices, yes and no decisions. A world with no middle ground. The boy never quite felt like he fit in. Sometimes the little boy even felt more like a girl. Whenever he expressed himself outside the normal gender roles, there were those around that thought that boys should always act like boys.
The boy would never forget and would always do his best to act like a boy, even when he didn't feel like it. The boy didn't hate being a boy, at least not all of the time. He did enjoy boy things, like He-Man and the Fall Guy. He made sure to never go anywhere near girly things, except for some stuffed animals.
The boy got older but the world didn't get less confusing. He had learned there were two types of people, heterosexuals and homosexuals. He learned at home, in school, and in church the "evils" of homosexuality. The boy started to become less sure of his feelings. He knew he was supposed to like girls but he just tried to kiss a boy (it didn't go well, fyi.) He questioned himself.
Was the boy as evil as the "f-words" he had been warned about? After all, he had become a willing participant of the sexual abuse of another male tween. The boy wanted it to stop because he knew it was a sin. The boy didn't want it to stop because of how good it felt. The boy got a little older and got it to stop. Not because he wanted it to stop, because he didn't want to burn in hell.
The boy, now a teenager, starts to notice girls. He had always been curious about them and what made them different. But now he wanted to touch them and kiss them. The boy knew he had to be straight then, right? Sex with the other boy was just a passing fancy, right? He tried to push the thoughts of boys out of his head. He swore to himself that he would never "check out" another guy.
One day, the teen met a girl and wanted to spend all of his time with her. She taught the teen new things. For a while, he wasn't thinking about boys (or anyone else), she was his first kiss and his first love. But things weren't meant to be and it didn't last. With her out of his life, the old thoughts and feelings returned. The teen started feeling confused again, he liked girls not boys, but why was he dreaming of other guys? He tried to only focus on girls. He did like them. He had a lot of fun with his "first love" and saw other girls that looked like fun.
The thoughts persisted. Am I gay, the teen asked himself almost daily. He had heard the term bisexual but according to other boys, only girls were bisexual.
The teen's high school life didn't change until he met other kids that called themselves bi. We all knew the openly homosexual students, while we hid in plain sight. But the bi girls (of course they were girls) inspired him to see himself differently. Soon, the teen admitted to himself that he was bi but he knew he had to keep it a secret. The feeling of deep shame didn't leave. He left the church a few years ago, but the church never left him. He questioned why he was bi. Was it because he was molested? It felt good but it was still against his will. He clung to that theory, forgetting about childhood queerness and pretending that he didn't fantasize about sucking dick.
After high school and through college, the teen experimented when he wasn't terrified. He got one ear pierced because he knew he couldn't explain both ears pierced to him parents. He grew his hair long and started shaving his body hair. He didn't really know why he wanted to, but he knew he wanted it. The world can be cruel though, the long hair invited jokes and ridicule. He cut his hair and found himself retreating to the Closet.
He made friends in college, straight friends. After college, he got a place with his straight friends. He didn't tell them he liked guys. He hid deeper in his closet of shame and fear. He only dated girls around them. Just as he had done his entire life, he tried to be as careful with his words and mannerisms. He never wanted to appear even slightly effeminate. He feared their reactions but mostly he stayed in the closet because of his own internalized homophobia.
Now a man, he was lucky enough to meet and fall in love with a very forgiving woman. He was lucky because he hid his qeerness from her. Shame and fear, as always. Eventually, she figured it out on her own. (He wasn't cheating, she was just perceptive.) He stayed with her. The straight girl and the bi boy. Being in love with a straight girl doesn't erase his queerness. Even if he tried to pretend otherwise.
So many more things happened and so many more details but this is my story. A shortened version of my life. I wish I had the courage to come out in college but I'm here to tell all other closeted queers. it is NEVER too late to come out. You don't have to come out to anyone you dont want. It is your life and you choose who shares your journey. At 45, I'm not out to everyone but I start my journey as an out Bisexual Cis-Male. But us bis just prefer to be called bi, it doesn't always have to be sexual.
Hi, my name is Chris. I am bi.

RPGrinders EP 745 - Roman Fartblaster
Saturday Jun 17, 2023
Saturday Jun 17, 2023
The summer solstice is less than a week away, but you don't have to wait for another episode of RPGrinders! It's time to celebrate the summer fun or melt like the ACless Break. Hot weather, skimpy clothes, pool parties, BBQs, baseball, and posion ivy are all back for a few short months. Get out and enjoy them while you can or lock the doors, turn up the AC, and give your thumbs some exercise.
June is finally here, and we are preparing to celebrate gamer's Christmas. The day better known as E3....Oh, wait. Nevermind. E3 is DEAD and buried! Does the loss of E3 mean developers are going to stop bringing gaming shows and new game announcements? Hell no! Developer can't wait to tell people about their games, they want as many people as possible to play. They want gamers to get excited for Nexomon 3, Everhood 2, Towerbourne, Clock Work Revolution, Resistor, Fretless, and so many more upcoming games.
The summer sun might be bringing the heat but there isn't a place hotter than Break's house. Is it a broken AC that is fueling his hot flames of rage or is it the criminal politicians that are turning Ohio into Little Russia? Unfortunately, for Frank, the summer sun has abandoned Denver. If anyone is planning to go see Frank, they might need to take a boat.
The rain may be drowning Denver but don't worry because it's always sunny when we do Sweetos! Denver might turn into an island but even Mother Nature can't take away the Nuggets dominating post season performance! Meanwhile, Break doesn't need pool parties, bar hopping, or a sports victory to celebrate. The only partying he wants to do is in celebration of Donald Trump's second arrest! Break really hates that guy.
Break's house maybe hotter than sunbathing ON THE SUN but it isn't as hot as the third round of the Most Annoying Video Game Character Tournament! Only 16 of the most insufferable assholes compete to see who is less likable! Will Baby Mario cry his way to victory or will Eric yank the cord and flush the cartridge? Are the Rabbids as annoying as they are pervasive? Can a nameless flying bird soar below the competition? Is there a bigger asshole than a dog named Dog that laughs at you for failing? Why the hell won't Roman stop fucking calling?! Can I hurl Roman and his phone into the sun?
Also there are Castlevania and Zelda. They have the "honor" of dual representation. Flying disembodied snake ladies, tiny hopping men, creeps that love red balloons and green clothes, and the worst fairy to ever exist. Is the embodiment of suck one of these four losers?
Enjoy the summer sun or hide inside and blasting the AC. Drink, toke, and be merry but be careful; you don't want blisters on your thumbs or sun-screenless skin.
LET ME FINISH!
Am I finished? NO! THEN LET ME FINISH....

RPGrinders EP 742 - Pride Comes Early
Saturday May 27, 2023
Saturday May 27, 2023
It's the last week of May, the unofficial beginning of Summer. It's also the last week before this country celebrates Pride Month. The majority of us will celebrate but there is a large group of people preaching hatred and fear. We still have video games and reviews but anti-LGBTQ issues take a prominent seat in this episode. Pride Month starts early on RPGrinders!
The show doesn't start with Pride in mind but we will arrive there. We start with an unexpectedly long news section. E3 might be dead but May and June are still a great time for game announcements! Ultros, Phantom Blade Zero, Haruka: Beyond the Stars, Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean, and 2 Metal Gear Solids are just some of the upcoming games. Break hates Metal Gear Solid 3 but maybe Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater could change his mind?
We still haven't arrived at the Pride issues but LGBTQ representation plays a part in the reviews. Break reviews the cancelled too soon Willow TV series. Two of the main characters are lesbians in love but is their story interesting enough to keep Break's attention? Eric reviews the sequel to Shazam, one of the final movies of the current DC universe. One member of the Shazam family is gay, but how well did the movie do in his representation?
Now we arrive at our Stinkoes and the assault on the LGBTQ. The death of the Queen of Rock and Roll and police corruption are only the beginning. The Target LGBTQ clothing controversy was a big enough issue for both Break & Eric. Although the Grinders all agree, not everyone agrees with them. Being LGBTQ is perfectly normal and it shouldn't be shunned by society. No person should be made to feel less because of the bigotry of others. The LGBTQ community is NOT indoctrinating children! Rainbow shirts and rainbow flags do NOT indoctrinate children. Being around people in the LGBTQ community will NOT make your kid "gay." That is NOT how sexuality works! Selling LGBTQ inspired clothes is not about indoctrination, it is about inclusion and representation.
Pride Month is about inclusion, acceptance, visibility, representation. It is about people being able to live their best lives and be themselves. There have always been and there will ALWAYS be people that are a part of the LGBTQ community. Hatred and fear will not win. Only Pride can defeat them. We don't need to be members of the community to support them and defend their rights to be free. The right to live and pursue love and happiness. The right to have sex with any consenting adults. The right to their own bodies. The right to hold the hands of the one they love in public without fear of bigots.
Essentially, we want everyone to be treated equal. The LGBTQ community is not treated equally. A lot of things that straight people are able to do that are stigmatized against the LGBTQ community, to varying degrees depending on where people live. There are a lot of places that are openly hostile and violent towards the community.
If the majority won't stand up for the minority, then the minority will take it into their own hands! Happy Pride Month everyone!
Oh, and video games and stuff.
And one more thing, don't miss Frank's special surprise!
And a second thing, sorry if I went a bit ranty. (It's a word now!)
Honestly, I was just getting started.
Saturday May 06, 2023
Saturday May 06, 2023
The weather is finally getting nicer. The sun is staying out longer. The flowers are blooming. And Frank pooped today. That's can only mean one thing, the RPGrinders are back for another episode of news, reviews, and tomfoolery! So stop, smell the lilacs, grab a beer, and join the RPGrinders as they celebrate spring their own way!
Speaking of enjoying the Spring, Gunvein & Skautfold Usurper will be out before the Summer solstice. We also learned that the hot Summer months don't make you sweat then maybe Norn9: Last Era will make you perspire. Once the weather cools and the leaves begin to fall, you can go inside and warm yourself with BioMutant or Mon-Yu.
The Spring nights can still be chilly, which gives you a great excuse to go inside and watch a tv show or movie. What could be a better Springtime excursion than a trip to the movie theater to watch The Guardian of the Galaxy save the galaxy one last time. Or you could stay home and enjoy the latest season of televisions greatest show, the Mandalorian. Mando, Grogu, Drax, and Groot, oh my!
The Springtime isn't known for giving one the blues but that doesn't mean there aren't reasons to complain. The United States Supreme Court has stooped to a level of corruption previously unimagined. Are there any non-corrupt judges? Judges aren't the only crooked people in authority, just ask the Greenwood Village Police. Not as bad as corruption, but getting sick when the weather is nice, SUUUUUCKS. Just ask Break. Not only does it suck but the way some graduating students are being treated is cruel! Punishing children because their parents can't afford to pay for something that should be FREE.
The Sweetoes are proof that Spring is in the air and the pollen is clouding their judgement. Frank can't help but celebrate the good news on the home front. Break can't help but gloat when he sees evil people being punished. Sometimes, there is justice in America. Even more rare than justice is the unexpected team-up of two polarizing politicians, AOC and Matt Gaetz.
Do you still need more proof that it is Spring, then here is proof positive. A brand-new tournament! This time the Grinders start the process of choosing the Greatest Fighting Game of All Time. Not to use a bad pun but the gloves are off! The Fighting Game Tourney has the Grinders looking for a brawl! If you thought they fought a lot in the last tourney, you ain't seen nothing yet!
This tournament well answer some of life's oldest questions. Is Street Fighter 2 a better fighting game than Mortal Kombat? Will Scorpion pull off the Flawless Victory then perform a Fatality on Ryu? Will Ryu and his Alpha pals be a match for the Bogard brothers and their bouncy friend? Is Evil Superman a match for a ruthless tyrant that has ruled with an iron fist for thousands of years? Can a fighting game starring the cast of Final Fantasy 7 survive the odds? Why is Mortal Kombat 4 even on this list? Will the Skullgirls teach the old games some new tricks? Is the Dead or Alive franchise nothing more than fan service or is it a solid fighting franchise? Don't stop to smell the roses, you might get KOed.
Join the Grinders next Friday as the dig deeper into the tournament, new reviews and news, Stinkos and Sweetos, and a flagrant boutique of humor and fun.
Wow. I hope that isn't as pretentious as it sounded in my head.
Tekken, Virtua Fighter, and DoA walk into a bar...

RPGrinders EP 736 - Spite Fighter
Saturday Apr 15, 2023
Saturday Apr 15, 2023
The fight is on! This week's episode gets highly competitive. Arguing over Trans rights, disagreements about reviews, fighting with listeners, arguing with each other, even a fight to determine the greatest fighting game franchise of ALL TIME?! No participation trophies. We are fighting to win!
The fighting starts even before the news! The chatters and the Grinders disagree about the rights of the Trans community. It's a personal issue to Eric and an important issue to address.
The news is a little later than usual, but not as late as the games being delayed. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Endless Dungeon have both been kicked back but they haven't been canceled. By the middle of next month, the Free-to-Play version of Disgaea won't be able to punch its way out of a server shutdown. At least it's not all bad news, as the city of Detroit will soon get to enjoy the Final Fantasy Distant Worlds concert!
To win a fight it takes stamina, not unlike what it will take to watch everything the Grinders reviewed! Hours of Japanese cartoons about the human body, American cartoons about the horrors of puberty, the horrors of Infinity Pool, the horror of being dead and still stuck in high school, a surprisingly good Plane, and even the Caped Crusader.
As if the Grinders weren't ready for a fight, the Stinkos are here to add fuel to the fire. A country that is seemingly at war with itself and its government. States that have decided to rule instead of represent. Even some personal battles against bad apps and bad family members.
Just as the bloodlust comes to a boil, it's time to begin the process of determining the Greatest Fighting Game Franchise of All Time! Will Ryu, Ken, and Chun-Li prevail over the Bogard brothers and their friends? Will Mortal Kombat dish it out or become the next Fatality? Can Dead or Alive's physical "attributes" be enough to defend itself against a Guilty Gear assault? Can the realism of the UFC and the Fight Night survive in a genre that is known for being over the top? If Capcom and SNK team up, could they overcome SNK's tag-battle champion?
Goku vs Naruto, we all want to know.
And that is all just the first round. We do two rounds tonight! The second round is even more shocking than the first!
Did I say that was the last segment? Surprise! We aren't tapping out yet! We have time for one more segment! A free-for-all discussion about the treatment of a nervous teenager at a gaming competition. Was he mistreated or is he just a complainer?
Now the fight is over! We can all go back to our locker rooms, shower, and head home. Win or lose the fight will continue. Let's get ready to rumble, fight the power, don't throw in the towel, act like you've been there before, and all of those other lame competition cliches.
Participation awards for everyone!
FINISH HIM!

RPGrinders EP 733 - No Butts
Saturday Mar 25, 2023
Saturday Mar 25, 2023
It's currently award season in America. The time of year when actors, musicians, video games, and many more are flaunted over and rewarded with shiny trophies. The RPGrinders have even awarded some games with the ultimate award, the GOAT. But what about the bad games and movies? The bad movies have the Razzies but what about video games? The Grinders have a solution! Today they will determine the Worst Movie to Video Game adaption!
The Worst Game is only a small part of the show. Things go wrong from the start as Break botches the opening in place of a sick Frank. But the Grinders wont let that stop them from bringing the news, reviews, Stinkos, Sweetos, and maybe a little surprise.
As always, the Grinders start with the news but in shorter form than usual. With Frank sick the Grinders don't spend as much time on the news as normal but that doesn't mean it is useless information. There were some new announcements: like the PC and mobile King Arthur: Legends Rise and the action RPG TMNT: the Last Ronin. No release date has been given for those two games but Caligula Effect: Overdose and Miasma Chronicles were given late May release dates. If May is too long a wait, Squenix has you covered with their Voice of Cards trilogy.
Even though Frank is fighting the deadly cold virus he is able to give three new movie reviews! Are Utah Cabin Murders, Knock at the Cabin, or Puss in Boots worth the admission price? Maybe the first rule of horror movies should be "Don't go to a Cabin in the Woods." Coincidentally, Eric also reviewed a movie in the Shrek universe. As well as the made for men, lesbian anime Yurikuma Arashi.
If you haven't figured out Frank's Stinko then I won't spoil the germy surprise. Of course, Republicans and Democrats make the list EVERY week. This time they are joined by their enabling mass media.
In happier happenings, Break is enjoying some long over-due Halo Infinite updates and Frank is excited for John Wick 4.
Thanks, for listening. Be sure to check us out every Friday LIVE at 7 PM Eastern.
Wait, isn't there something else....
THE WORST VIDEO GAME TO MOVIE ADAPTION OF ALL TIME!
Only 8 games remain but only one can earn the dubious title! Will E.T. gobble up the competition like a bag of Reece's Pieces or will he be stuck in that hole forever? Will Shrek Swamp Kart Racer live up to its new name, Swamp Ass? Does the Last Action Movie game suck worse than the movie reviews? (Fuck them! That movie rules!) Will Platoon live up to NES tradition of bad movie game adaptions? (Spoiler Alert. Yes. Yes it will.) Is Enter the Matrix the first (and only) thing that Keanu Reeve's can't save? Can Abraham Lincoln fighting Tyler Durden make an entertaining Fight Club game? (Spoiler Alert: No. No they can't.) What ya gonna do when a friend puts Bad Boys Miami in your PS2? Hint, get a new friend. Or better yet. Make your friend play the Gamecube's ultimate shame, Catwoman.

RPGrinders EP 730 - ASS!
Saturday Mar 04, 2023
Saturday Mar 04, 2023
The Grinders are back another show of asstastic proportions! The first week of March 2023 is overstuffed and with news, reviews, stinkos, bad video games, and more asses than the Democratic National Convention. So now it's time to strap in, pop open a cold one, and get ready to for an extra-long episode of RPGrinders!
The Grinders waste little time getting to the news. With some games releasing as early as Asspril, why wait? Trinity Trigger is getting a North American April release only a couple of days before the release of Mugen Souls. Along with the new release news, a couple Pokemon games will be receiving some DLC. Pokemon Scarlet and Diamond can enjoy the updates later this year. DLC has also been announced for Elden Ring but the release date is unknown.
This asspisode of Grinders also features the return of Dear BreakMan! Not trying to spoil the segment but it involves animals and drugs.
Ass usual, Break has enough Stinkos to make his own podcast. A familiar list of Break's complaints: abortion access and restrictions, the hypocrisy of our elected officials, and the horrific actions of police officers. Meanwhile, Frank deals with some family issues.
The start of a new month also means the start of a new tournament! This episode the Grinders complete the first round to determine the Worst Movie to Video Game Adaption Ever Made! The age-old question will be answered, does E.T. phone home or get booted from the first round? Is there a good NES game based on a movie? (Yes, but not on this list!) Is the Cool World video game worse than it's an assbolutely awful movie? Robocop has beat a crooked CEO, a drugged out super robot, and samurai androids but does he have a video game worth playing? Is the first rule of Fight Club not to talk about the Fight Club video game? (A great line. I had to borrow it.)
Join the Grinders LIVE at 7 PM Eastern next Friday for the second round. We will be one step closer to determining which game is the worst piece of ass. Until then, keep your monkey sober.
