in this episode of RPGrinders, the crew finally makes a return to Game Night, but not before dealing with some light news and audio issues that would make Max Headroom blush. There were some reviews, but honestly I took a hit to the head by a random object during a wrestling match, so I don't remember too well. But at least there is a whole slew of stinkos about the usual suspects, and a death of a loved actor. But after the Sweetos, Game Night comes back with some of that aforementioned wrestling mayhem I mentioned earlier. Who will come out on top as the best of the best? The holiday season is in full swing. The Grinders are ready to stuff their faces for Thanksgiving. The sales and the shopping are just beginning. But, most important of all, this is the last episode of Grinders for Nov 2026!

While passing the gravy and making your Christmas list, don't forget to listen to Eric's reviews. So close to the end of the year there aren't many new releases left. However, Dec 8th will see the Steam release of the Y's inspired Angeline Era. For the people who don't mind waiting, February 2026 will see the releases of Norse: Oath of Blood and Y's X: Proud Nordics.

Once the food is done, the last thing most people want to do is talk to their family members. So instead of gouging out ears, why not try to relax with a good movie or tv show. The Grinders have some recommendations and some warnings. Are Kpop Demon Hunter or Spin the Bottle going to leave Frank with more indigestion than eating an entire pecan pie? Are Predator Killer of Killers and the Super Mario Bros Movie so bad that they would make Eric prefer to watch football? Are Gen V and Alien Earth filled with enough nudity and gore to make Break enjoy them even more than the sweet potatoes? 

If the dinner table political fight with the drunk uncle wasn't enough to get one's blood boiling, then maybe these Stinkos will get the heart rate up. Our overly stuffed president continues his war on the American people. Between his appointees, our failure of a Congress, and corrupted judges across the country there is a lot of anger. They embrace NAZIism while rejecting science. Despite their hateful claims, people do not become autistic because of vaccines. Also, they need to stop trying to "fix" autistic people. They are not broken!

We can all agree that the stuffing is the best part of the meal. At least, no one can disagree because I have no editor. Just like the stuffing the Sweetos are here to counteract the bitter taste of Stinkos. In the surprise of all surprises the American government is finally releasing the Epstein files. From here, we can only hope it leads to punishment for everyone involved in the abuse and coverup. More than anything, we all should want justice for the victims.

With only one segment left, it's time to loosen those pants for dessert. Almost as good as pumpkin pie but not even close to apple pie is the delicious Driver's Seat. Although the Grinders don't talk much about sports the final segment is dedicated to their favorite and most influential athletes. Football players, Olympians, baseball players, and competitors from numerous other sports get the respect they deserve.

With so many delicious food options, don't be the guest who brings green bean casserole or fruitcakes. That is a good way to not get invited back. But it's not all bad, anyone kicked out of family events has more free time to listen to RPGrinders!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I know I usually use this space for my sarcasm, but now I'm just thinking about Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey light meat. Turkey dark meat, stuffing, rolls, cranberries, mash potatoes, corn, sweet potatoes, and a variety of pies...

And now I have to try not to drool for a week, no promises and no apologies for drooling in my sleep.

While the crew were away for several weeks due to issues and vacation, we missed our chance for spoopy episode talk. Oh well. At least there is a chunky amount of news to make up for it this time. Highlights are the Corpse Prty Tetrology getting into hot water, and the return of Sigma Star Saga. Afterword Frank has a review for Good Boy. The Crew also has umbrage with the continued war on transgendered folks, as well as democracy and decency. At least in the Sweetos section we can all agree the turnout for No Kings 2.0 was huge. At last, the crew finishes the show with a Driver Seat about which Dragon Monsters, new or old you'd like to see in future games. The spooky season is finally upon us. Every day another yard is covered in Halloween decorations and the autumn leaves. The fall jackets come out as the temperatures drop, at least they would if Global Warming wasn't real. The calendar tells me its October, but Mother Nature is telling me to keep wearing shorts! Honestly, the weather doesn't matter because the Grinders podcast can be enjoyed anywhere at any time. 

You can listen to Grinders while trick or treating. Don't worry. We won't blow your cover. Just say the gray hair is a part of the costume. Collecting candy while listening to the latest gaming news, sounds like a happy holiday to me. The holiday will be even better for fans of the Yakuza series who can look forward to some upcoming releases. Fans of Nioh, Code Vein, and The Seven Deadly Sins can look forward to 2026 for new releases, it's only scary if you hate waiting.

For the parents who are escorting their children as they beg old people for candy. While you are driving slowly, enjoying your beer, is the perfect time to listen to Stinkos! You could be at home, drinking in peace. Instead, you are just hoping your kid gets some good candy, that you plan on stealing in their sleep. You might need those treats to power through yet another price increase from Microsoft. If a bad economy and corporate greed don't get us, Kristi Noem and Pam Bondi might. Even worse that getting pennies in your bag is the Fed spending our tax dollars to protect dictators while ignoring natural disasters here at home. Even more gross than someone giving out open pieces of candy corn, are the actions of ICE. I know I am making jokes, but they are deadly problem. Cowards who have been emboldened to attack the people they have always dreamed of hurting. Sick fucks. 

With such horrible Stinkos, we need some Sweetos to light up our ol' hallows night. Almost as good as finding the one neighborhood that gives out full sized candy bars! Or if you are like Frank, a huge pot bud. Unlike MAGA who is very unpleased with Dear Leaders opinions on marijuana. If they weren't already unhappy, announcing Bad Bunny for the Superbowl has made all of MAGA even less happy. Not quite as happy as Break feels for the future of his favorite baseball team. 

As the night of begging finally ends, the parents can finally have some fun. Put the children to bed, raid their candy bags, put on your sexiest Halloween costume, and listen to an episode of RPGrinders!
